Lake shore Pulmonology has a specialized medical staff that provides pulmonary, sleep therapy and aviation medicine services. Dr. Mark Ivey (link) is a highly respected MD specialist that has in-depth training and experience in the medical field. In addition, Dr. Ivey has a military background as a Flight Surgeon and Aviation Consultant. Nurse Practioner Cindy Hartung supplements Dr. Ivey as a top notch assitant and care giver. She works side by side with Dr. Ivey on diagnostic and follow-up therapy. She greets you with a warm smile and professionalism. Kim Toth is our Office Manager and personal secretary for Dr. Ivey. In addition, she is in charge of medical billing, personnel, and office efficency. Kim is the senior staff member who has worked eleven years with Dr. Ivey. She ensures that Dr. Ivey meets his medical and military appointments. She is extremely helpful to the patients and professional staff. Registered Respiratory Therapist Sharon MacConnach has worked with Dr. Ivey for over nine years. Prior to that Sharon worked as a Respiratory Therapist at North Ottawa Community Hospital. She is a true professional who is highly respected in her specialty. Sharon does a lot of diagnostic testing, interpreting and therapy. Sharon is well adapted in handling military pilots who are scheduled for their annual flight physicals. They shower her with gifts to make sure they pass their annual physical. Melissa Bartholomew is the newest member of the staff. She has a AAS degree with an associate degree as a Medical Administrative Assistant. She started working in the office, July of 2007, as the front desk receptionist. |
